The existing arrangement of the ground floor spaces were spread over various levels, resulting in a disconnection between rooms and limited access to the garden. Our client commissioned us to transform their existing property to provide an open-plan and functional kitchen, dining and entertainment area for a modern family. We achieved this through excavation to harmonise levels and re-configuring the internal arrangement.


The clients were keen to take advantage of the unimpeded daylight in the rear garden, and in order to maximise the level of daylight the new spaces received, we included bi-fold doors, windows and rooflights.
