For this site, we were restricted by Conservation planning policies. We were not permitted to erect a structure that spanned the full width of the roof. The completed development clearly demonstrates that roof spaces can be converted through inserting two smaller dormers, which are designed to minimise its impact on surrounding areas, whilst ensuring that our client successfully achieved a double bedroom, en-suite, storage and sufficient head-height to circulate comfortably.
